ABBASSO IL LASSISMO

Il lassismo è molto peggiore dell’uso inappropriato della terminologia di cui ho parlato la volta precedente.

Si ha lassismo quando si nega implicitamente l’obbligatorietà e si predilige il permissivismo e la rassegnazione.

Questo è un tipico atteggiamento che si riscontra in molti giovani, fortunatamente non in tutti. In compenso mi si dice che sia diffuso in molti adulti. Per meglio chiarire a cosa mi riferisco utilizzerò un’esperienza personale.

Mi si creda o no, premetto che amo i giovani. Se non altro per esclusione: non amo gli anziani, soprattutto quelli che cominciano a raccontare le loro storie all’infinito e non hanno molto da fare. Nel senso che non sono impegnati in nulla o che hanno dichiarato tacitamente di….vivere  in attesa della morte.

Siccome amo i giovani cerco sempre dei collaboratori giovani. Non uso criteri selettivi particolarmente pesanti. Cerco sempre di capire con chi ho a che fare e come la pensa. Lo sche ma di riferimento è il seguente: stage lungo, contratto a progetto e assunzione.

Da anni non sto riuscendo ad arrivare in fondo a questo percorso. Il motivo di fondo lo riconduco ad un atteggiamento di esteso lassismo. Senza contare i casi di cronico lassismo. Sono sempre salve le eccezioni, invero rarissime.

Il caso ultimo di quest’anno è andato press’a poco così. Ho selezionato un giovane di 25 anni con laurea di 3+2. Oltre ai colloqui interni con diverse persone che già conoscono il lavoro, che hanno condiviso e superato la trafila indicata sopra, ho anche aggiunto, per onestà intellettuale, che in una piccola società di servizi come la nostra, in piena evoluzione, si lavora per problemi, in favore dei clienti, rispettando gli orari. Nel caso specifico ricordo molto bene di aver anche aggiunto che per affermarsi sarebbe stato utile mostrare iniziativa, proattività.

Dopo un inizio tutto sommato positivo, di poche settimane, ho cominciato a notare uno scarso rispetto dell’orario. Prima delle 9,45 non ha mai carburato, mentre l’orario è 9-13 e 14-18.

Ho indetto una piccola riunione e ho chiesto le ragioni di quell’incipiente lassismo. Ho approfittato anche per evidenziare i riscontri positivi, sia miei sia dei collaboratori. Ho lanciato qualche stimolo, peraltro condiviso dagli tutti, auspicando che venisse fuori la proattività.

Dopo tre mesi, stessa riunione, stesse osservazioni. Il lassismo era ormai stato asssimilato come norma di comportamento. Ho rifatto le mie rimostranze, un po’ più sostenute delle precedenti, ricevendo una ricusazione delle osservazioni che gli venivano fatte.

Conclusioni: il percorso che ho descritto all’inizio non è andato avanti.

Ho raccolto con cura le confutazioni che mi sono state fatte: arrivo in orario, il lavoro assegnato lo svolgo bene (non del tutto vero !), i clienti non si lamentano. Nesun cenno alla proattività.

Conclusioni: con il lassismo non si rilancia nulla, non si va da nessuna parte. O si modificano gli atteggiamenti o si retrocede prima ancora di avanzare. Per questo non piace il lassismo nelle persone.
